Camillus has made 30 Talonite Talons with stag handles and cape buffalo sheaths. Various people bought some, including me. I'll have better images when I get back to my flat-bed scanner, but meanwhile ...

James couldn't wait for then to get out. Got mine on Friday. Almost had to get a big stick to keep Wallace from taking it away from me. He liked the stag better on the one I finally decided on. You would of thought that he went throught the whole box and got the "pick of the litter". The jigged bone lookes good but nothing beats a nice piece of stag.

These look nice! Any chance for those of us not at the Blade Show to purchase either a Stag or Jigged Bone Talon? (James...are any of the ones you bought available from Chai Cutlery?) Cheers! -Alan

There were only 30 of these Stag TALONS made. They were some 'odd' size blade blanks that were accidently cut approximately .5" shorter than the regular TALON. Therefore they would not fit in the same sheath or take the same handles. We got a friend in South Africa to make up the sheaths out of Cape Buffalo and we finished out 30 in stag and 10 in reddish/brown jigged bone. All of the jigged bone knives were purchased by Howard Korn form www.knifecenter.com . The stag knives were sold at the show to individuals, and a few dealers that got some. James at www.chaicutlery.com got a few, as did www.1stopknifeshop.com and AG Russell. They are very nice, ...I hope you track one down

I got three of them ... I'll scan them properly in the next day or three. Had to ship them to myself by Fed Ex unless I wanted to check my carry-on as baggage!

Odd lot of blades ... serendipity!

Will glad to have met your dad. Super nice fellow. He really made the day of a 12 year old knife knut. Ask him about the double knife Western set.

I'm sorry that you and I did not meet up at the show Phil and your dad told me that YOU were the one with that blank check for Dexter and me.
