Sheeeeesh! Ask a couple of questions and this fellow flies off the handle. I see you can respond to this thread albiet in an antagonistic fashion, but not the #18 thread. Still haven't answered any of the questions in either thread though. From reading here you are an expert, are you? You make statements and someone asks for a bit more info and you get irate. :jerkit:
None of you other guys see MP boasting all these 'facts' but when asked about them he gets hostile?

Esav, thank bud; sorry that someone troubled you with all this. We've known each other for what, probably ten years now, not counting the web-split event that gave us all new registration dates...

And in that ten years, haven't I, for the most part, bent over backwards to answer any question posed, regardless of the posters intent? I dunno; something about this guy just rubbed me the wrong way...

Like most of us, I'm here just to blow off a little steam, to relax after a long day, and to have some fun...not to be interrogated. So, mea culpa, I gaffed the guy off. Hopefully, with time he and I will become good fast friends. Just not today...

Hell, I have obligations; obligations to bathe regularly, feed the pets, and walk the dog...well that, and to score gun club matches, go on fire calls, and to hike and fish when possible. Otherwise, everything else is pretty much voluntary--including responding to questions posed by demanding newbie’s... ;)

I wasn't trying to be argumentative at all, but it is somewhat insulting when a guy that allegedly knows what he is talking about makes statements presented as fact, and yet is above any explanation. I don't get it. The following are three statements MP made presented as facts, I just wanted a little help by explanation. Is that too much to ask?

1) Orlando forged 18's are more desirable and valuable than Solingen 18's all things being equal. Those that tell you otherwise are wrong.....

**What is the basis for this statement.

2) The 4-7 is an unmarked stainless steel blade.

**How do you know this?

3) The sheath for the 4-7 was dyed black by a previous owner.

**How do you know this?

There you have it. Three simple statements that warrant more info, but it comes with much resisitance, so I naturally came to the conclusion that perhaps MP couldn't give more information. You guys that are jumping all over me apparently take anything he says as gospel, and maybe it is, I just wanted a few answers. I just don't see my questions as being that difficult and I would think a couple of you might be interested in his answers also.
