Hello to one and all, and thanks to all who post here and make this such an informative site.
First off I'm not a knife maker, I'm really good at admiring some of the awesome work on here, though.
What I do enjoy doing is finding unusual wood. I currently have black cherry, red maple, and staghorn sumac. I also have some black walnut, sycamore, and spalted maple on the way.

So here is what I have for sale today. All of these are Staghorn sumac, they do not contain urshoil that causes skin rashes. They are wet and have been sealed in wax to prevent checking, and so slow the drying process. Sumac is a unique wood with a mix of yellows, greens, and browns, and sumac of this size is unusual because most die before becoming large enough to mill.

The price is $5 per bookmatched set, shipping extra. If you so choose I can accept paypal, but money orders and other honest transactions are gladly accepted.
Returns accepted, but no refunds on shipping.

Sizes starting at the far left.

number 597, 2"x6 1/2"
590 2 1/8 x 5 7/8

Both are 7/16" thick

Does the wood get denser in larger sizes? Sumac seems as light and as soft as
pine from what I have seen growing.
