Started out as a stainless GEC #15 Navy Knife, and I wanted to learn to re-cover. All went well, until I accidentally ground the Tang and ruined the fitment. So I filled the handle with G Flex 2-ton epoxy, and vioalà! Fixed blade. As solid as they come, and a unique size.
The regrind on the blade is possibly the best Ive done. It is so thin and smooth, nearly a zero grind. The handle isn't the prettiest, don't expect a show piece. The blade looks great. Do expect one super comfy, extremely capable utility/Carver. Handle is thicker than a standard 15, not quite but almost Bullnose thickness.
