Stainless damascus coil

Hello,

after a long time I am again here to show news.
In the last days I have made two coils with the weight of each 800kg(1760 Pound) of stainless damascus steel. The damascus is made of the steels from Böhler N690(1.4528) and Buderus Nitro-B(1.4916 nitrogen-alloyed). This steel compound is my best. By producing all went well, the edges are frayed and some still need to be reworked. This steel is made for the production of kitchen knives and other blades. Before that, however, the steel must be cold rolled to 2mm(0,079 Inch) and 3mm(0,12 Inch) thickness.
I am pleased to show finished blade made of this material, but this is certainly take longer.

Unfortunately I do not know if it works with uploading the photo, so here is the link to the picture with the coils.: http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4028/jhrip83l_jpg.htm[

I think it took awhile before any mod got bold enough to click the link to make sure it was OK.
Until it was approved, the post would not display. The OP likely thought there was something else going on.

With the aid of some "Dutch courage", I clicked it. Looks OK to me. I have approved the posts and I have merged the threads.

Mein Herr, I think it is OK if you talk about your achievement in general terms. I do not see that as advertising. If you do want to advertise your business, you will require a paid membership.
