Recommendation? Stainless fixed blade for hiking & bushcraft

I really like the Ruike Jager in 14C28N. The handle is more comfortable than I expected it to be. The adjustable sheath is a nice touch. I know a few other members have this knife and like it. Since mine has only seen light use, I wonder if anyone here has done any serious bushcraft with it.

Hello,

A Mora Companion is hard to beat for this purpose.

Cheers.

It is hard to fault this choice. Still, I would take the Kansbol. It has features which, to my mind, easily justify the additional cost: flat-ground tip for food prep, sharp 90-degree spine, ambidextrous sheath, handle that works with any grip, and a hole for a lanyard if you want it.

good point on the kansbol, but it is more than double the price of the companion

...(which is okay, since they are both quite inexpensive)

I really wish they upgraded the kansbol to 14c28n - then it would be a slam dunk imho
