Stainless only on knife.....

I have no problem with an all stainless knife. Some of my favorite knives are D2 and 14-4 (154cm equivalent). For me it depends on the pattern and handle materials. A nice jigged bone looks great with a heavy patina on the blade.

For me the biggest drawback to a stainless blade is that if the knife comes with a blade etching I am pretty much stuck with it unless I sand it off.
