Stainless scaled stockman

Interesting choice of blades Bill, more like a cattle knife configuration. Never seen one like it. The spey has a little bit of an Ulster vibe to it.

That humpback spey was used used on many Utica Kutmaster knives in the 50s and 60s.

Those pins look a little suspect to me. Maybe like they've been re-spun. How is the blade to spring interface?--KV

Was it anything similar to the camillus " what a knife " jack ?
They only came in Jack's, single clip blade, clip and pen, and clip and cap lifter. They always said " what a knife " on the handles and I'm pretty sure had tang stamps. I'm betting this was a made in Japan take on the concept.

I tend to agree, the absence of markings could suggest 70s Japan. I've also seen knives from former Eastern bloc countries that looked similar but I think they would have stainless blades.

Thanks, everyone! I guess this one will remain a mystery.
