Stainless steel ball chain?

Greetings BB. Depending on quantity, you could find them at police uniform/ supply stores or at a local gun/ knife show from dealers carrying same. They are used widely by LEOs to carry official id/ badge from around the neck, naturally. I' ve posted inquiring on obtaining them in quantity, especially in black color but haven' t received any response thus far. Will gladly let you know of any progress.

Oh. The above info applies to the ball chains only. No info on the eyelets. Any makers out there who can help?

Check with suppliers of laminating plastic and equipment. They sell them for the IDs that are on a chain around your neck.

Home Depot has ball chain for $0.69 per ft. & matching connectors @ $0.97 for a card of six.

I have come across a good supply for the ball chain now I have found some eyelets at Blade-Tech but I nor the lady that answers the phone know what size I need. I am using .060 thick kydex folded over once for a thickness of .120. I don't know if I need a 6-6 6-7 8-8 or what size I really need. The cost is only $10.00 for 100 but they stock 6 different sizes.

Be very careful what kind of ball chain you get. I bought a ball chain for a neck badge and neck knife from a local police supplier and ended up with a horrible rash. (Contact dermititis.) I think the chain was a cheap chrome plated base metal version. I had the same reaction to my stethascope when I was working as a medical assitant a few years ago. I had to put shrink tubing around the chrome plated metal to keep my neck from breaking out. The chain I got with my REKAT Hobbit Fang is working out with no problems.

I may still have some contact info for a company that makes ball chain at the office, I will check Monday. For eyelets try Fastener Supply at http://www.fastener-supply.com
