Was looking to order some stainless steel bar stock for guards for larger knives. On the order of 5/8 thick by 1 inch wide maybe about 18 inches worth. Looked at most of the knife parts stores and they don't carry any thing along those lines. So I went to the internet found some that was affordable but they want anywhere from 20-30 bucks to ship for something that weighs a pound, what the heck.
