I love GEC knives but I find myself with few choices as they don't make as many offerings in their excellent 440c. Patinas are not my thing so there are many models I want to buy, but won't because they are only offered in 1095. This thread is dedicated to the models they do make in stainless. Hopefully they will expand their stainless offerings, but in the meantime this is what is available:

Tuna Valley Cigar Stockman

Now let's see yours.

I only have two but it's a wonder I don't have more because I absolutley love GEC's 440C.

The EO is a user (older pic) but the Muskrat is just for lookin' purty.

I too would have many more GEC's if all their patterns were offered in 440C. I love GEC's 1095 too but I prefer stainless steel and GEC's 440C is an excellent stainless.

GEC's 440c really is some good stuff. I can't wait for them to include #48s, #66s, #85s... yeah, a bunch more.

The first one on the left is on its way to my hands (not Trand's knife, but the same one). It will be my first GEC, and I decided to go for the stainless version (or maybe it was just because I was curious about the #25 and found this one for sale around here). I'm really looking forward to it.

Had a Half Congress in Honeybone but traded it.

Still have a 2 blade 73 Scout, their stainless is impressive and I would very much like to see them offer 48 and 56 patterns in it and another round of lockbacks please or linerlocks, missed out on these. (It could well BE that Trand captured the lot:D:thumbup:)

Jake......

Something about the dark bone on your Dog Paws Brand Conductor really makes it a looker.............

Trand that's quite a nice collection

Trand!!! What's it gonna take for me to get one of those red elk 72's from ya?! It's driving me absolutely crazy to NOT own that knife :D Awesome collection

Seriously though....I really want it :o:)

2dead, you are SICK. Just looking at all those GECs is making me feel a bit ill. That's a wonderful coollection (spelled correctly). - Ed J

My stainless GEC (and first GEC at all) came yesterday. I started a thread about it, but I'm posting the pics here too:

So,
for all us knifenuts who have developed some kind of love towards GEC's 440C, it seems our hopes are finally getting real, little by little:

I wonder if any of you guys already has one of these, although I guess there will be no unexpected news on them.
An "old" pattern (meaning, a knife that GEC already had on their production list) with our cherished 440C.
Anyways...pictures are welcome

Hey Fausto, Don't think the #73s shipped yet but I should have some #48s for the weekend ;)

Trand,
I knew you would jump onto those knives in a second.
I just hope they introduce their 440C on their #56 or #66 frame models, but at least these are good signs for us
Of course, make sure you post pictures when you get them ;)
