Stainless Steel Manix

I really want a carbon fiber Manix !!!!! That would be the only way I can see a cosmetic improvement for my tastes.

A SS Manix would be too thin for it's weight though, and would be incredibly uncomfortable to use. With as heavy as the Manix is, it needs to be bulky to be comfortable.

A titanium handled Manix would probably run around the price the Ti ATR went for, so that's a lot more money for a more slippery handle. But different people prefer different handles.

Eh, it's just my opinion. Lot's of people would probably like that kind of handle, but I'm jus not one of them.

I can't even imagine toting an SS manix...I might as well just bring my HI khukuri. But, then, I can't imagine EDCing the normal manix, so, who am I to say.

I want a MAXI MANIX. Give me thicker liners and a more stout tip.

I love my Manix, yet I see it as kind of a half way knife. Not as thin and light as my Endura four, yet not as stout as my Strider. I often find myself either going light ( endura) when in gym clothes or Strider all other times.

Now a Maxi Manix and the Strider might just get some wall safe time.

I think it'd be cool to see a SS Manix. However, I think the construction would need to remain similar to the current setup (adjustable pivot, most importantly). For a hard-use knife like the Manix, hidden-pin construction would not be adequate. My Police, for example, developed a bit of horizontal blade play -- NOT due to abuse, but just from normal usage. The Manix is designed to be a tank that can stand up to hard use, but if it were done in SS it would become a show-pony.
