hello.
here are three stalkers.
dimensions are almost identical.
blades are forged by finnish smith antti makinen in 0.7C tool steel (equivalent to 1070) - tempered to about 59Hrc.
dimensions: 4" x 0.2" x 0.8"
handles are made in ebony and brass, 4.5" long.
sheaths are sewn and wet formed from a single piece of 0.16" vegetable tanned leather, impregnated by beeswax.
a few words about the knives:
I often draw my inspiration from nature, and these are no different.
beside a slim and compact design, organic texturing allows me to create knives which are quite unique - a fusion of functionality and art.
every line, dot and dimple are hand filed, carved, cleaned and polished.
I find myself (with each knife) working longer and more attentively on every part of the puzzle, for it is a big prize to achieve crispy clean lines and details.
brass is textured (spider web pattern) and aged.
concerning the sheath, these are a classic now
sheath covers most of the knife with thick wet molded leather, protecting both the user and the tool. knife snaps into place.
