Stamp S35VN Paring Knives?

I think I know the answer, but had to ask the experts here.
I'm making some paring knives for friends and family using S35VN .060 and am thinking I should not be stamping a maker's mark in these.
Should I pass up on the stamp so I don't weaken the thin blades?

I would either etch the mark or engrave it on thin blades.
