Doc Here... Just a thought... the other day I had posted a link for a NON-PROFIT Internet Open Directory...similar to Wikipedia or other search engines...except this one is an .org..another words an Organization...not for profit not trying to sell ANYTHING..in fact I had found a number of links to this VERY FORUM...so I posted the link...that is it.
Well, I received a "Warning" from someone called "bastid"...apparently one of the moderators here... I can find the exact message... but something to the effect org "this is a Knife forum, etc.....
So, it will be interesting to see how long this link stays here!!

DocH, the reason your post was removed was because when you put khukri in the search engine it led to a banned members website. It appeared as if you were posting a round about link to a competitor.

Piso is only posting a link to a news story as he often does.

I think You are using The Cantina EXACTLY the way that it was meant to be used....
All I was doing in my post was expressing my Surprise at the response by a "Moderator" at my posting a Search Engine/Open Directory Project link.
Color me Puzzled!
Another very ironic thing is that when You search for Khuks or knives,etc, this Forum (Blade Forums) comes up often.....
Go figure:)

Ahhh Well... My Fellow Khuk-Fans here do not seem bothered by the fact that I was "disciplined", so I will worry not!!

Uh...DocH, orange county is almost as far from the city as jersey is. youz a city boy from where i'm sittin'.... LOL. i'm about as far upstate as you can get without bein' a syracusian,watertownian or a rochesterfarian...or gettin lost in the DAC's.

At any rate,for what it's worth i got infracted by ted for posting a link to an ebay auction i thought people wouldve liked to see, within my first couple of months here. My fault for not understanding the rules. ya live and learn and all that ya know.....

At any rate this shoe deal kinda bugz me at the same time i'm finding it hilarious. It makes me wonder if Pres Elec Obama is gonna get loafered to death on his first visit.

No loafers, around here we call them brogans (pronounced bro-GANS). They come in four colors, but all true fans of French foot-fighting will want their pair in Bush Brown®.

Still....they look like they'd hurt, if ya got hit with one.
Now say "bush brown brogans".....5 times fast.
 
I know a woman who is dead on with clogs, flung from the foot:eek:, those real Dutch clogs from the 80's.:o

What do i know, Buffalo is really the armpit of the State, but they call us Western NY, so's I do have some nice cowboy hats:thumbup::D
