Stan The Ham

Sorry to hear about the loss of one of your "family". We lost one of our canine family over the holiday also. You have my sincerest sympathy and prayers.

His time had come and you gave him rest. Good on you.

That's the thing about this life. If you open your heart to joy, you also open it to pain. What a riddle, what a conundrum. I know I'll never solve it.

Instead, I'll take the pain that always seems to creep in, soft footed, dull eyed, in joy's shadow. It's a hard and bitter price to pay, but I find it passes with time. The memory of joy remains.

Goodbye, Stan.

I offer my sincere condolences on your loss, Ian. I enjoyed the pictures that you shared of him. Thank you for doing that.

Dan

Ian,

Stan always brought a smile to my face. He made people happy, except maybe for that chap he used to chase, if I remember correctly. We share your loss.

Very sorry to hear of the loss of Stan, may he rest in peace. It's very hard to loose a dear devoted friend.

You and yours have my condolences,

Jules

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Dobie to cancer last year. We remember him every day, as I am sure you will remember Stan.

I hate Cancer...

Ian I am so so sorry. Stan was a big beautiful boy and will be remembered fondly forever. My deepest condolences to you and yours.

Ian-

I feel fortunate to have been a member here for long enough to know Stan and Yourself. Thank you for sharing pics and stories with us over the years.

I will add You, Him, and Your Family to my Prayers.

... I'm very sorry for your loss, Ian. Having lost several dearly loved companions over the years, and a few before their time, I know that there is nothing that I can say that will ease the pain you are feeling, so I will just say thank you for sharing Stan with us in your pix & posts. I really believe that he truly enjoyed his time spent with you, and it shows in the pix you've posted of him. Smoke & prayers sent for him, you, and your family. Take care, brother.

I am truly sorry to hear of the loss of your family member. Dogs love us unconditionally...no matter what. They are true friends.

When we lost our dog it was one of the toughest days of our lives. My sincerest condolences.
