I NEVER EVER use this forum except for checking on everyone and hanging out.

This is not a thread for to support Amy-0 or anything like that...but I have to say something...(Mods..feel free to move this)

America has decided that CANCER SUCKS and if you have a TV right now every channel has this on right now....Stand UP to Cancer....I know that it has affected each and everyone of you in some way...it has really opened my eyes on how we must get a cure..

Let me get on my soapbox....

Once again Mods if this is not "cool" move it:)

What I am telling each and everyone of you that IT DOES happen to little kids, Mom's, Dad's, Brother, Sisters, Friends, Co Workers, ...well Heck it affects EVERYONE and it sucks.

I am sorry if I ruined or offended anyone in this forum.. but well..I have had one hell of a year.... and Gas prices were crazy and we pay that...Geez....Why the heck can we not find a cure:confused::confused:

I love each and everyone of you and when I see the posts and get phone calls that so and so has this and that....IT AFFECTS ME and I went thru with my father in law and so many more....

it hurts my heart.....so I am done ranting and raving and I LOVE THE INFI and I am working on doing somewhat of a auction of some of my own personal collection for the cause......

I hope you all can forgive me for My Rant:):)

Kisses and many HUGS from the 0,
Amy

I've lost a few people to cancer throughout my life. A cure would be awesome but availability of said cure for everyone including the poor would be even better. Here's hoping the future brings out the best of our capabilities as knowledgeable technologically advancing societies and as individuals as well.

NO apologies or forgiveness needed Amy. This is home to many of us and I think this is the place for your post.

Thoughts and prayers to all the are going through this terrible scurge and to those that have had to go through it already. Personally, or on the sidelines...

It does suck...

EDIT: Sorry for the tardiness Amy, I just got online and responded as soon as I read your post... :o

Thank You....and I agree:thumbup:

It took the life of my youngest daughter's mom. Her mom was 40 years young when she died. Since then I can't begin to name off the people (family and friends) who I know have it and who have died from it. I think of it as a epidemic. One that in my opinion doesn't get enough attention.....for a cure or solution that is. It doesn't seem to care what or who you are, the rich, the so called health nuts, the poor, the un-healthy, anyone and everyone can get this killer/life changer. Hopefully someday we'll have a better way of treating it then the "crap shoot" method we use today.

it scares me, but we all need to think about it.. Amy, u are stong and we are all behind u!!!!! ANYTIME!!! Someone is always here on the Busse Forum, It is like a 2nd home to me.. If ur givin up your INFI, It is not much, but, I will donate one of my customs to your cause! Let me know how i can help! Jeremy

I have lost many of my loved ones to many differnt reasons whether it be war or accidents. but what hurts me the most is watching someone who doesnt want to leave and is fighting for there lives through Chemo. There should and needs to be a cure by now! i was actually talking to my wife yesterday and thinking about this exact thing. I know someone out there has developed something to fight this. Hopefully governments will eventually come together and realize that this isnt just our problem or a certain country's problem. But this affects humanity as a whole. Once we all realize this i gurantee cancer will be cured. O well hope this helps and My love and Prayers go out to everyone who is dealing with cancer or who knows anyone dealing with it. And if i had enough busse other than my everday users i would definatly go in with that auction to help the cause.
Thanks
p.s. maybe my son can help when he gets home. My mom was diagnosed with Leukemia and my son is torn up about it.

Sorry, kiddo. I just wasn't on.

Yours is a fine cause. And I've supported quite a few fine causes over the decades.

You'll hear no complaints from my direction. The spousal unit and I have given much ... including much of our time ... to those who crusade against the many forms of cancer. During a somewhat younger phase of our lives, we spent much time running/jogging/walking loooong distances to raise money for portions of the bigger fight. Those were the days.

Perhaps I made the wrong choice way back in the previous century. It was physics that called to me and not medical research.

EDIT: Don't know if I should mention it here ... but there is a significant chance that research into the root causes of cancer will lead to life-extension in humans. In case you needed any additional reasons to support the research.

Amy ,Its bad stuff . Had over 150 stiches in the last 8 months from the sun . It totally sucks ! Went thru this with my dad and uncle it seems like its never over . Gerry

You're a tough act to follow. I read it once and didnt know what I could possibly contribute that you didn't already write more articulately and passionately than I could of.

I lost some people to cancer one of my Uncles left behind a wife and 4 teenage kids. It was heart breaking.

Its been my experience from talking occasionally to others on this particular forum that its a pretty darn good and helpful group of people.

I hope... and believe you'd be pleasently suprised at what they were doing or do to help.

Its tough to know how to help someone suffering from a loss like you or others here have. But I can assure you that if you made some sort of a suggestion about what people could do for you, or with you, they'd very happily and eagerly help.
