Standard Thickness Handles And Maroon Canvas Handles Are Coming Back!!! . . .

Big News From Busse Combat regarding handle options.

We are updating some handle options for Busse Combat Knives.

Maroon Canvas Micarta Is Coming Back Soon!!!👍

We are finally able to bring back maroon canvas micarta as a regular option.

We have been able to overcome supply issues, and maroon canvas will be making a comeback as soon as we can get the shopping cart updated.

Standard Thickness Handles Are Coming Back Soon!!! 👍

We are currently in the process of writing programs and retooling in order to offer standard thickness handles on many of our models moving forward.

While not all models will have this option, many will. This may add a bit of time to new orders until we are completely retooled for all models that will have this option.

Customers ordering models that come with this option on handle thickness will be offered the choice between standard (thinner handles) or Magnum (thicker handles).

Standard or Magnum handles will cost the same.

Our regular upcharges for different materials such as black G-10, multicolored G-10, and Nuclear option handles will remain the same for both "Standard" and 'Magnum' thickness handles.

Moving forward, handles that are referred to as "Magnum" handles will be the handles that have been offered over the past few years.

For example, if you ordered an Anorexic Fusion Battle Mistress, the handles slabs that came on it would now be referred to as "Magnum" handles, and there will be a thinner option referred to as "Standard" handles.

Let's Drink!

Damn, damn, damn.... the lack of maroon canvas has been the justification I have used for several offerings that I passed up. NOW I WON'T HAVE THAT EXCUSE!

"DARN YOU, BUSSE COMBAT!!! DARN YOU ALL TO HECK!!!"

So the standard handles were magnum handles, but now they're going to be called magnum and the standard handles will be the thinner ones? I think I get it but I have a feeling I'll be confused in a couple of days when the clarity wears off.

I know right it seems kinda confusing, wouldnt the current handles be called "standard" and just offer skinny ones?

For handles, I wager “Standard” sound better (in your mind) than “Skinny.”
Yes, but that's not the point i am making.

The current "standard" will now not be called standard. It will be magnum. And the new skinny handles will be called standard. Seems wrong, no?

Flat used to be coined “standard,” people also referred to them as “non-magnum.”

If going back to the old, simpler, days… so be it. (Especially if it means the Custom Shop would be taking work😉)

We’re headed in the right direction, as far as I’m concerned:
1) 5/16” fatties
2) Standard handle option
3) Custom Shop open🤘🏼🍻🤣
