Standard Thickness Handles And Maroon Canvas Handles Are Coming Back!!! . . .

My suggestion is to call the newly offered thickness "anorexic". This offers continuity on both fronts.

Do you think the Magnum Outlaw will sell out before they are available? I was about to order one just now but I would prefer the thinner handle.

If I read this correctly, standard handle slabs will now be offered in g10, and even nuclear options. Has this EVER been offered before? I'm no expert but I can't remember anything other than micarta being offered on standard (traditionally thinner) slabs.

Yus!!!! Thanks Jerry ! Great decision on this.

I was taking a break after the Viking sword but I guess it’s going be short lived. lol

I’ve had plenty of the thinner scales in the colored G10 combos, like on the Ratmandu, Hog Muk, AMS, etc.

Past the Nuclear option, which is much more recent- yes to standard G-10 handles being offered as far back as I can remember.

BATAC from the production run in 2007 with standard black G-10 handles vvv (I also have another CG BATAC in the same combo with optional Magnum black G-10 handles.)

May have been addressed already. Can we get an older full Mag handle in maroon?

Still love this color of canvas. Black paper is next right?.lol

I'm super stoked that maroon canvas is back on the menu! Absolutely my favorite color (although I'll never say no to tiger hide 😉). I already have an FMV14 and FMV8 with maroon canvas. So now I can add the FMV10 and FMV6 to complete the collection.👍

The following is me, not Jaxx. Something odd happened.
Have nuclear options ever happened on non mag profile scales?

Shopping cart has been updated to add Maroon Canvas as an option. We are still working on adding the "Standard" and "Magnum" options. Please be patient as this is taking a bit of work.

May have asked on the wrong thread. I want a TGULB again. Now with the addition of standard handles I am confused. I loved the normal (now magnum) handles on the TGLB and TGULB…. But… have skinny/standard TGULBs been done before?

I don’t know which I want to order.

Not intentionally.
What I mean by that is there never was a choice of handle thickness for any Team G release...
But TGLB had a choice of either machined handles or hand smoothed handles- all started the same, but many hand smoothed TGLB's have considerably thinner handles from this option, & at least a bunch of them actually weigh a bit less than a TGULB if hand smoothed micarta was ordered. I was surprised to see the results of weighing my TG series knives & finding that 2 TGLB's came in lighter than my 2 micarta handled ULB's

Back to your pondering- your can always reach out to Busse & ask if they have plans to add a skinnier handle option to upcoming runs of the TGULB's anytime soon before placing your order. 🙂🤙

Thanks. Will prob order the common magnum handles. Never had an issue with those. Now to firmly settle on config.

I am almost positive I want comp and black Micarta. But someone posted a pic of desert bronze and black Micarta of a forefather Bowie and I am in a dilemma hah.

I have an ASH-2 that has the slim handles scales and it is lithe for such a substantial knife, feels great for a general purpose knife but for a dedicated chopper I would lean magnum scales to reduce hand fatigue.

If we ordered a TGULB with the standard thickness scales are they gonna have this much material removed or will they be mostly flat?
