Standoffs from Blur into ZT 0350?

So I got to looking at the standoffs in a Blur that I have (it's junk) and they appear to have, not only the same measurment in height, but also the same size hardware.

Has anyone ever tried to swap the standoffs into a ZT?

The standoffs are nice hourglass shaped, and even better, black.

Before I go tearing them apart I figured I'd ask. It's worth a shot.

I like the idea, standoffs are much more aesthetically pleasing than spacers.

Does Kershaw provide standoffs for separate purchase? I'd like to do this to my 0350. It'd sure be cheaper than cannibalizing a blur. I guess I could try and find a well used one for sale.

nothing, it looks like on first OP's pic.
btw, i used 0200 standoffs

I was worried it might develop a rattle, or something else untoward, but no, it works flawlessly.

I need to go check a Leek that I never ever use. If it has the right parts I could cannibalize that one too.

+1 for blur standoffs! :thumbup: I fixed my 0350 from a bad centering, my stock plastic back spacer on my 0350 started to get deformed from use. It was the logical way to go instead of sending it back in to ZT a 2nd time for the same problem... mine feels smoother and the tolerances are more in favor of this thick blade between the liners now with the blur standoffs. I think it should come like this from the factory. looks way better IMHO

Does Kershaw send out standoffs? Haven't run into that situation yet.

If not, I'm hoping the 0350 backspacer fits into the blur?

I'll email Kershaw in a bit asking if we can get standoffs for mods. Might have to lay a bit for 'em because they're not for replacements, but I can't imagine they'd be too much.

That's great to hear. I just ordered a Blur from Dave to do the same, hope it helps. I never really considered it'd help the centering, was going for the looks. That'll be a bonus, if it works, for sure.

And jhyde7585, I'll be sure to post results about that fit. I'm guessing it won't fit without some pretty serious modding. And I'll also try the Knockout unassisted, as I have one of those coming too.

What are the measurements on the Blur standoffs? Don't have one to measure/remove parts from. Wondering if some can be bought from knife making sites/suppliers.

I don't have a micrometer, but they look about 5/32 thick.

Found a Blur to take apart and measure. Gonna take it apart at the shop tomorrow and mic the the standoffs.
@NeverMore-those standoffs wouldnt look bad on a 0350SW!
