Starmate liner, steel or titanium?

Is the Starmates liner titanium or the same steel material that the military uses?

I think it is the same SS as the C36's liner.

I believe the liner in my C36 is made of titanium. It is nonmagnetic and is relatively "soft", it is not as hard as stainles steel as I can scratch it with a paperclip.

If I am not mistaken, Sal said the liners on the military were steel. He said they used steel because they lasted longer than the titanium ones.

Stainless but what type,Thats our little secret.
I will tell you that it is just as hard or if not harder than Ti.
