Starmate vs Chris Reeves Umnumzaan

I had the chance to meet Bob Terzuola twice in Paris. Great gentleman. Wonderful knives !
He's incredebly gifted at linerlocks and pure designs.
(He was the private teacher of Sal about the linerlocks)
His Century Starfighter was the "father" of the Starmate.
The C55 was the opportunity for the ELU to use a Terzuola knife at a fraction of their price.

It's a very nice knife. A Starmate sprint run would be cool.

Yes, Bring back the Starmate! I love my militaries and this woudl fit right in. Carpenter CTS-XHP would be a nice steel for the knife.

My first self funded (non gift) Spydie is a Starmate serrated, really regret not having gotten a PE. It's a great knife for a sprint run, update the G10 scales a little (found the beveling less comfy then my Millie and para1) redo the liners to make heavier duty. It's got a far more robust tip vs the Millie, poorer slicer but generally more robust. It's a good knife. You might find cp440v harder to maintain vs cp s30v.
