Starmate vs. Endura!

I would recommend the Endura for several reasons:
It's easier on the wallet
It's easier to resharpen
It weighs alot less (in fact my Endura has spoiled me, now I don't like to carry heavier knives--especially wearing light summer clothes).

Thanks for the links to those great pictures. I did try refreshing before, but to no avail.

I see you have the plain edge Starmate...this is certainly the one I was first interested in but now I wonder if perhaps I don't like the partly serrated version better, with this particular model. It would make a great all arounder in this configuration.

Finally handled a Starmate at a local gun shop that also sports a knife department. Wound up getting another knife, due to a store credit that exceeded the Starmate's price, but I am thinking about it.

The store is rather out of the way and mostly for gun nuts, so, give me around a week and then I won't stand it any longer and then drive out there and claim my new (discontinued) Starmate!

It was indeed very smooth, solid lockup, nice heft, fully accessible Spydie hole, etc. etc. I found it much better that the J. D. Smith, which I found hard to open with any dexterity. (J. D. Smith and Starmate were on my check out list)

Starmate, here I come.....
 
any preferrence between the liner and the backlock of the Endura ?
i really like the Endura system, theres just something about the liner that doesn't seem as secure, the Endura is also safer/easier to fold and re-pocket one handed, no ?
 
I have both.
My starmate is my EDC (plain-edge in summer, part.serr. in wintertime). I like it alot. I'm a fan of Terzuola and a fan of the spydie-hole. Like many other the starmate replaced my C-15 Terzuola.
I did modify my starmate a little to better fit my needs. (Mili-clip and a small cutout on the clip-side-scale) I find it easier to open that way.
There are some occasions where I prefer the Delica. If I go digging in the garden i.e. I'll take the delica.
If I drop it on the floor, I'll pick it up, no problem (cleaning it after work of course). If that ahppened to my starmate, I'll be unhappy for a week.
The price is also a consideration. I paid for my starmate 5times as much as for the delica (got a deal on the delica :) ).

Go for the starmate.
