How do I? START A THREAD

What sort of thread are you trying to post? If you are looking for information about the knife, go to General Knife Discussion and post just like you did here (depending on the knife, there may be better subforums in which to place your thread). If you are trying to post in the Wanted: Knifemaker/Craftsman/Related Services section - you won't SEE your thread (only people with Knifemaker/Craftsman memberships can see those threads), and, IMO, you are better off contacting them directly - I have never received a response to ads I've placed there. If you are trying to place a Wanted ad, just make sure that you post it in the Wanted to Buy section of the Exchange - your membership level won't allow you to post new threads in the selling/trading sections.
 
Thanks I'm new to the site and I've never used a site w threads either so I was confused, but I managed to figure it out.
