I have stuck with that excuse many times and she always comes back with "but you know you cant sell it once you got it". She is partly right too but the prices on a good Bura, Vim or other Kami blades go up way more than what a bank or money market is going to give you in interest. Would ya rather have a picture of ben franklin on a piece of paper or a crescent moon stamped on a Fox Folly? would you rather make .000025% interest while someone else plays with your money or make 100% interest while you play with your own money? Not all wives understand that? See so buying Khuks you are training yourself to save money! Ha! They really dont understand that That old famous saying comes to mind: "Times with Khukuri and no money are better than times with money and no Khukuri

You know what ndog? I think this is not far from the truth as I would guess properly maintained HI blades will keep their value over times.
But if you ever need that money, it is just your heart that you will have to break instead of a piggy bank.
