Maybe the sword comes from Poland! I have some friends with Polish ancestry whose name is quite similar to "Wajaski".
Whatever it is, it is very fine and undoubtedly handy.

I thought it sounded Polish, too. 
Sort of like Wojczewski. Not as bad as Drzezewski. Both good guys!

Darn, I am a wapalock and I thought mebbe it was a long lost polish shortsword...darn...back to making pierogi's from scratch for me...
