Hello everyone,
I finally got a nice sheet of steel, 2 square meters of 2,71mm NCV1 (~aka 80CrV2)
And now starting making some Tengu and Garmr knives from it.
In this topic I will show a progress of making that knives
And finally from tommorow I will end with making photos with a Potato (Smartphone). Because I now waiting for UPS with my brand new Pentax K-S2
(Later I will get some Pentax K lenses like 35mm , 55mm and some Macro lens all with Polarization Filters)
Finally I also got a Grobet 00 file ( after 6 months of waiting...)
Mostly I think to make them with:
Garmr:
1x Cordia Glabrata
1x Olive
1x Brown Mahogany
1x Black Paper Micarta
1x Padouk ( if I still have this wood)
Tengu:
1x Yellow G10
1x Black Paper micarta
1x Black G10 with red liner
1x Black G10 with Blue Liner
etc.
For Garmr knives, I thinking about a leather sheaths made by my friend.
And also I will make some 3 kithen knives ( small becuase now I have short kiln)
Here is a photo of finished today Garmr (for friend) with Mycarta (brown linen) and 3,1mm NCV1 steel

And why I always have problem with making hidden tangs ;( ....
