I'm assuming two kinds of people.

One, non-knife people who think it looks cool and see that the real deal is about 10 times the price. (Worth it of course, but not to people who aren't into knives)

Two, knife people who know that it's a clone and want to see what it's like in hand before purchasing the actual knife.
Makes sense. Never been in these situations though.

As a knife person all you could judge would be the form factor since material texture and finish are different and for that spending $20 and wait 4 weeks for it to ship from China
Maybe it makes sense for a really expensive knife with a weird shape which you aren't sure about and can't try in a shop.

Real advice? Start a website selling something you know a lot about. Respect craftsmen and upright manufacturers by avoiding replicas and fakes. Put a little effort into anything you do that matters.

Hello. I am starting a new website selling knives.

1. What are the top 10 most popular knives (looking for popular not the bests)

2. What are the categories of knives (combat, outdoors, ?)

3. Any advice for me?

4. I might order some knives from China. How do those fare? Are they considered knock offs? Is this real
All feedback is appreciated.

I'm not trying to offend you but this was not a good idea posting this. This community likes to support dealers/individuals that care about customers first, not profit. From the questions being asked and also the link provided, it indicates that you are about profit. You are doomed to failure if you are trying to sell counterfeits and have no idea about the market. sorry man

Enough is enough.
Counterfeits are not allowed.
I've noticed many new members have very poor attention to details and reading comprehension skills. This forum has few rules, read them before showing your ass. Counterfeits are not allowed, posting links, and then quoting them shows a lack of overall common sense. Do not do it.
