Starting my permanent camp.

Awesome. I've been trying to find an area where I can build a semi-permanent camp. Can't wait to see more video and pics!
 
Awesome, Make sure to checkout "shelters, shacks, and shantees". If you don't have it yet, its awesome for camp furniture

I love that knife. I have got to try a Nessmuk style soon.

I want to do something like this on some family property this year.
 
Wow, this is awesome!! I can't remember where you're from josh, but it sure is pretty wherever you're at. I'm currently on a search for a permanent camp of some sort too, at least till I can afford to buy some land in a few years. I can't wait to see how your shelter turns out!
 
Spent some time in the camp today with my nephews, getting ready to work on it this week...

I don't want to offend, but he has the guy with one leg mow fields:confused:, that just seems wrong;)

What are you building with all that lumber a freakin' duplex:confused::D Even a permanent camp only needs a good strong spider shelter or lean-to.:) Thanks for sharing though. Looks like your nephews had a nice time. I like seeing so many vids on here of young kids spending time in nature and not with their xbox:thumbup:

Its going to be a three sided 10x10 with a tarp roof, and 2 bunks. The wood is free, and there is a ton of it! LOL
If I have too much, I will build a few benches, and burn the remainder. :)

You are right, boys need to be outside! These two love it out there.
 
I'm glad to hear that. You shouldn't let anything hold you back. I guess in my mind I was picturing and old school push plow or tiller or something,lol Sometimes I forget its the modern age:) What you you shooting that bunny with?

A new Ruger SR .22 its a good shooter.
 
Its getting closer to done, but still needs a roof.
