Starting Out - Som High Level Questions. Mainly grinder related

Stacey, what I stated was 1hp full load current could be up to 16 amps. I realize variations will occur depending on which motor is chosen, motor efficiency, Grinder efficiency etc.
I am using table listed by Burr King:

I' not sure why their chart says that?
Burr King Chart:

Below is a full load calculator. I used normal power factor and efficiency ratings.
What does your motor plate say the full load amps (FLA) is?

Motor Full Load Amperage Calculator
Number of Phases: Single Phase
Motor Rated Voltage: 120V
Motor Rating: 1HP
Motor Power Factor: .91
Motor Efficiency: %86

Results
Single Phase Motor Full Load Amperage (FLA): 7.94 A
If I drop the power factor and efficiency to .80 it is still less than 10 amps.

As of now I do not own a 1hp motor because I haven’t invested the money into a 2x72 grinder. With this additional information my mind is definitely going in that direction. Again, I realize a lot of factors go into the equation and I just haven’t researched specific motors.
Thanks again for the added knowledge
