Over the past couple of weeks I have been working on some knives. Tom Krein has been amazing. I have learned a ton. I ground the blades a "bit" too thin so I may lose them in the heat treat but the knowledge is more what I was after anyway. Turns out I'm not a natural at hollow grinding.

Looks good to me.

I dont think there are many natural grinders. I think it comes more with practice than natural ability.

Loosing blades is part of the process, i have probably dumped more blades than i have completed, there is always going to be some mistakes

Allen.......... I don't know if you realize how LUCKY you are to have Tom Krein as your mentor. The man is a knifemaking machine. He'll literally take years off of your learning curve as a maker. I would stay real close for as long as you can ;) And the little Neckers/EDC's are looking good , I think I can see a little "Krein" in them too ;)

Tom does real nice work with a grinder. Stay close for as long as you can.
