Starting to appreciate the smaller ones

The compass...is it a match case? And welcome!

It is. It's a K&M Match case. I'm an assistant Cubmaster and den leader, and I believe in teaching the kids to do things the way they used to be when it comes to being in the woods, and admittedly, a bit of gadget lust made me hunt this out. It's made by a man and his wife in Idaho milled out of brass stock. They make a bunch of sizes to fit any kind of strike anywhere match and a ton of materials, but I dig the brass. I won't post a link (not sure if it's legal here), but they're easy enough to hunt down. I highly reccomend them to anyone looking.

Mind you, I'm not compensated or anything for that, I'm just a REALLY happy customer.

Nice story and the right results about thinking. Thank you for sharing that story and the knife, too.

Welcome to that pretty cool subforum!

Kind regards
Andi

Habiru welcome aboard. Great picture. I have a few FP's myself. Old knives and pens go together.

Beautiful evocative composition; great photography. Many of us have travelled the same path towards smaller blades.

Welcome.
