Off Topic Starting to get really obsessed with spyderco

I also have some BM's, a few ZT's, and...

...plus another 4 Para2's not shown.

My Spyderco's outnumber the other brands I have put together. I would say that's largely 'cos they just feel so darn right in hand when using. The first time I pushed my thumb into a Para2's jimped ramp and felt the knife lock up in my hand, it was a revelation. My state of being rose to a new plane of awareness.

As stated by astute persons above, you need a Military, and a bit of customizing here and there.
Might sound a bit strange but I'm not too much of a Manix fan, except for the utterly awesome XL. I absolutely would not part with my XL, my most used work folder.

My wife got me my first good knife for Christmas last year, an Endura ffg in ZDP189 and I'm in love, saw the pattada review from nutnfancy and now some day out will be mine.

I think a lot of it has to do with what you are getting for the money. Innovative designs, variety of steels and materials, and quality well-made knives. You can’t help but buy more. I have way too many already...

You are off too a good start! ;)

I am a full blown Spyderco junkie.

They are a good company with lots of integrity that make very functional tools and try to continue to innovate and push the knife world forward.

I like thin grinds and lots of Spydies are slicey. I like that!

Of the 8 or so modern folders that i own all but one are Spydercos. They are a great company with designs that really work well.

My goal was to get (at least) two knives that I felt were iconic to the brand. So, from Benchmade it was a 940 and a Minigrip. Spyderco, PM2 and a Manix. That sort of thing. If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be ZT.

Here's a pic of my carbon fiber collection.

Having only owned cheap knives up to now, and all saber ground, I am absolutely smitten with the ffg, and I love the ZDP189. I've set my eyes on the pattada, but honestly probably going to get a delica next.

I almost pulled the trigger on a CPM Cru-Wear para 3.
I love high carbon steels. But i has to make a car payment ( adulting is not fun)
I did get a friend a black PM2 for her first knife. She loves it. And i had a blast flicking it open and closed (and cut myself within 10 minutes)
Anyone have experience with the Cru-Wear blades?
