Starting to See Some Possible Bad Signs With a Trade

Well, it is as the title says, I'm starting to see some possible bad signs with how a trade here on the forums is proceeding. As things are still in progress I'm going to keep names out of this, but the trade involves a fairly high end knife and a very nice CB radio set up. I checked the guy out before offering the trade and saw that he had good feedback (all positive, not one thing that I would even question) and has been a member here for about three years, so I wasn't worried about it. Communication via email was excellent until things were supposed to be sent out with a tracking number, which I provided on my end and I've yet to hear back from the person. This was a little over a day ago and the person has been on the forums since. Right now, I'm not sure if I'm being overly paranoid or if I'm right in being a little on edge.

Id give it a little time. I too like good communication but what might be a priority on your list might not be for the other party and perhaps they re just taking their good old time? I would shoot them an email or pm and say "Hey I got my package out just wondering if you got yours out? If you could get me some tracking info Id apprecaite it! Id just like to know when to expect it!" If you dont get a response to that then I might be concerned!

Did that yesterday and it's possible they're just taking their time. Not heard anything back yet. I'll give it a little more time before I really start getting concerned.

Just got an update from him apologizing for the delay and that he has the stuff shipped out on his end along with tracking info. I tend to get a little more, whats the term for this, restless when high value items are involved. But, this is probably normal.
