Stashed Knives... Where do your other knives live?

Aside from the blades we carry on our persons, there are knives we squirrel away in various locations for convenience. I have a Victorinox Recruit that resides in the backpack I take to work everyday. There's a Leatherman PST that lives in a 'catch-all' tray on my kitchen counter. A newly acquired Tinker has made a home in the pockets of my winter vest. A folding Mastercraft utility knife has made its nest in my toolbox, and a RAT 1 is nestled inside my hiking/camping ruck.

Where do *your* auxiliary knives live? :)

We have a bunch all over the place, at least one in every room of the house:
- carry knife (today it's a Tenacious) & a Stockman in my jeans pocket
- Leatherman Surge & Camillus/Becker BK7 on the bookshelf by the bed
- SAK Classic and/or Spartan in the 'Command Center' in the dining room (where our house keys, phones, wallets, car keys, etc. go when we come in to the house)
- SAK (some model with a corkscrew) in a kitchen drawer
- U.S. Schrade Melon Tester pattern in the office, makes a great letter opener
- old Camillus Scout knife in my son's 'Scout' drawer in his room
- SAK with scissors out in the laundry room
- a stainless knife (smallest Spyderco Byrd-type) in each bathroom, for opening pill bottles, etc.
- old U.S. Schrade lockbacks, at least five of them, stashed in various places around the garage, house, toolboxes, etc. for odd jobs & heavy duty work
- SAK Huntsman in the car
- the rest go in sealed plastic bins under the bed, or in the garage.

If I told you they wouldnt be "hidden" anymore and I would be left helpless and in the open;)

I like to keep one here

I "stash" my guns. As for my knives.... One in the pocket and one always in my truck just in case I left the house and for some reason forgot the one in my pocket. I have found that if I start spreading them around past that - I lose them. I like to keep ALL my knives centralized so I know where they are.
Not that I don't think I need to know where my guns are but they are well stashed with the goal being one is always within reach no matter where I am.
The rest reside in safes.

I pile a bunch in my Tactical wheelbarrow so they'll always be handy.

Tactical wheelbarrow

Bahaha
Wow a Tactical Wheelbarrow??!! I have to have one of those!! Is it all flat black with surrated edges and a puncture proof wheel? and it has to have USMC printed on the side... cuz It aint tactical if it dosn't have that.

I keep the knives I don't carry in a drawer in the kitchen or some cardboard boxes in a storage room.

I thought I had found the perfect hiding place.... not so much.
Took some getting used too I'll have to say.
Knife kept rusting.
It's much more comfortable sitting now that I went back to the pocket.
Have to admit though, it was funny watching the guy at the courthouse with the wand try and find what was buzzing! (That part was just a joke) Why is there a Black Suburban outside now? Gotta go!

Totally agree on that point. That's why I only have one in each room - usually in the most logical place. Any more than that and I end up in panic mode because one of my babies is missing. :(

Various models of SAKs in my fishing tackle bags, buck 110 in my truck console, buck oddysey on my computer desk for opening dip and whatnot, mora in the emergency camping kit I keep in my truck. All my good knives stay in my safe when not being used.

ESEE 4 in my jeep. Spyderco Civilian somewhere on me when I go out in public (not saying where). Other knives that I rotate through my EDC reside in a shoe box, in their boxes/pouches/etc.

I've also got a Tactical Wheelbarrow. It's 'urban camouflage' with a handsome rust patina, and the genuine rubber grips are generously jimped for ultimate traction. The solid rubber wheel defies nails and ninja caltrops, and is fixed with a very loose (the uneducated may say 'sloppy') tolerance to give you a zig-zag pattern to your forward momentum (awesome for dodging gunfire whilst gardening.) Load distribution is deceptively off-balance, ensuring that you are ejected over the handles in the event of a catastrophic emergency...
