State ivory bans that need your help

There are two states that need your help to make sure bans on the sale an use of mammoth and elephant ivory are not passed. They are Florida and Oregon. Email your representatives to make sure they appose these bans.

Hey Mark, do you think it will do any good to contact some senators in Florida. I contacted the people Oregon and have not heard anything back yet. Do you think they care because I cant vote against them?

Some people believe that letters from anyone, if it is well written would help. I say, it can't hurt. The only pond we have absolutely no chance of catching a fish in is the one we don't fish in.

I have seen letters from out of state help the issues here. We did a nationwide request for some gun legislation that was ready to pass and it dyed a slow death in committee due to all the attention. So yes it can definitely help. Grated it would be great if we filled up all the in boxes from constituents but sometimes that just is not in the cards.
