Ok, as you can tell, we had some problems getting the site up and running. I've brought it up for posting at this time because the problems we are experiencing aren't major enough to keep it down, especially since I'm going to be switching things around shortly.

I'll post more as I have it.

In the next couple days, we'll have scattered downtime as I update the software, then you'll be seeing some new subforums open up. Finally, search will go down, to be replaced by Sphinx search, and then it should come up for everyone.

Post if you have issues.
 
I don't know about anyone else, or if its my cable connection, but man this forum is smoking fast today!!!! :eek:

Keep up the great work and thanks for giving us knife lovers a home away from home!!

I'm glad you got it going as quickly as you did: the withdrawal was causing me to shake and sweat. It's all better, now.

Thanks for everything Spark. Just out of curiosity are you going to be upgrading to the ugly version of vBulletin software? I'm not sure if it's the most recent or whatever but I've seen it on a few sites and it's horrific looking.

Not yet, not until they do something about the search component.

Thanks Spark! I'm sure this was a lot of work but it should be worth it. It may be all in my mind but pages seem faster already.
 
Huge thanks for all you do. I don't know about anyone else but presently the forums seem to load faster for me.
