state roll call & possable show?

I live in C.A. - central Alabama. Actually, this was Chalkville - now Clay, but we use Pinson's Zipcode. A few miles NE of Birmingham. Oddly, I sometimes think I am in Juarez. I'm not a 'native' either - a long time transplant - from Brooklyn. Yeah, that accent was fun around here in the fifties as a child - at least I learned to run!

Hay there Lambertiana,

My big gunsafe was made in Visalia;).

That's interesting, so was mine! Of course, I only had to drive over to their showroom and order it, and they delivered it to my house. I assume yours is from The Safe Company.

Yep it sure is. They were going to all of the gun shows to drum up business...I was able to pay off my safe in installments pay what ever I could afford at the time and they built the safe when it was fully paid for. At the time I had five kids to raise and money was in short supply. It was cool they did that for me:thumbup::cool::D.

When the safe was delivered this little old man showed up with it:eek: (same guy who sold me the safe). I just knew there was a big guy with him...NOT:eek::eek:. That safe is 5' tall 4' long and 30" deep and 1/4" steel. I looked at him and said I don't know how we are going to move this thing!!!! He said stay out of my way son and tell me where you want it:confused:. He did the work himself...moved it with a piano dolly. I moved it once after that...it took four men to do it!!!!

A similar little ole guy delivered mine by himself. Quite a lesson in leverage and the right tools. Then when we moved 4 big burly movers couldn't do it so called out the same little ole guy to do it again.

Hi Guys,

it is somewhat to show Buck Knifes in Berlin to Americans like to carry coals to Newcastle.

But if you like, it would be appreciated for me if one of the Buck nuts finds his way to Berlin. I live in the middle of the town, just a quarter of an hour by feet away from the Brandenburger Tor.

Best,
Haebbie

The Historic Hudson Valley of New York, about an hour north of NYC (not far enough!). 2,589 miles east of Post Falls!

Iowa here. I think that we should do something here. Maybe we could see about renting the mississipi valley Fairgrounds in Davenport? Pretty popular place.

Well Dave, you have finally convinced me to add my two cents worth here as well after my last thread on this same subject ran into considerable opposition. I'm in south central Texas (College Station), so, by my count, that makes at least five of us (six including you who seems to claim Dallas as his home away for home ;)) that are within about three to four hours driving range of one another. It's a great idea to get some Buck Bros together some weekend for a "show and tell"; count me in!!

ok you guessed it!!!
that is jest what i am trying to do!
see of getting some club sponsered shows
in the mid west...
prefure near a major airline hub.. driving distance of some ...

if the powers that be in the club have thoughs on this
Please chime or jumb right on in!!! :D ;)

Let everyone get their lick in on where they are and then we can see a map and pick teams by the clumping.
Dave I am sure someone out in cyberBuck is up to speed on creating the type of map you want on the computer. You may have to provide a written list. If no geeks are available I will give it a try, but lots of time I feel like a fish out of water on this thing. I was in college and the video game Pong hadn't been out long. I saved my quarters for gas, shotgun shells and all you could eat pizza night. 300$s
