• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Are these subject to the same rules as the discussion forums?

Like if I use my status to insult fellow members, am I subject to infraction?

The more you know!

I believe even PMs are subject to certain restrictions, recently had a mod confirm that. That being the case, I can't imagine visitor messages and profile posts being more public would be subjected to fewer restrictions.

What’s a status message?

It's a profile post that latches itself to your hip.

I updated my status to "Status: in statis." to see what it did. If you click my name on the left my status will pop up under my name and location. If you go to my profile it will look like a profile message.

Never noticed this!

Don't have a rule for it specifically, but there are limits on any communication made using the forum software.
