Stay alive solo in the winter with pre-conditions

"Adequacy of food rations in soldiers during an arctic exercise measured by doubly labeled water"

"Rations packs contained 4,350 kcal/day."

"Results suggest that 1) food intake was significantly underreported and 2) the energy needs of most subjects were being met by rations and available supplements."

In the scenario we have the goal is simply to survive for two months. We make no provision for pleasurable eating experiences. And far from an "arctic exercise" we only have the subgoal of moving a couple of miles or so every two days. The rest of the time we will rest between episodes of hunting, catching, and foraging. Oversimplification, but I think a pulk full of TVP, rice, suet, lard, sugar, instant mash and stock cubes is going to take the sting out of most of it.
