Hi Everybody,

Please bundle up and batten down the hatches, looks like a nasty one is headed your way.
-50 w/windchill as a high !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ugh. I can not imagine.
Check your furnaces and make sure the filters are clean and they are working good. takes no time and may save you some headache.

Praying for the best for you all, and thinking warm thoughts.

Damn that sounds cold.... I am just keeping the house comfortable with air-conditioning !!!!! Tomorrow is going to be a scorcher..!!

I hope you all remain safe and warm !!!!

Got down to a bone-chilling 35 degrees last night here in East Podunk, Texas.
I actually had to wear a jacket to work today!

-14 overnight low along the ohio river.

Nobody cared, the world started up just fine this morning.

I saw as low as -65 in some areas. Maybe a good time to cryo some of your other brands of knives :D

These weather reports are crazy. Hope everyone's okay. Don't take any risks!

Its cold....VERY COLD & ANGRY out ..".like an old jewish man returning cold soup to the deli"...quote from seinfeld show

I thought 3 degrees as a low was bad today, I can't imagine -50 windchill.I hope everyone is warm and toasty now. A prayer for those unfortunate to be homeless as well.

Have sleeping bags and/or blankets in your cars.
Seriously. I used to live where people have frozen to death in all seasons when they drove off the road and nobody had a clue they were there until someone just happened to find their crash sites.
Be safe.

Currently it is -16 with a windchill of -48. It is danger cold here in INFI Land. Stay safe everyone and look for reasons to stay inside if possible.

Garth

I can see getting excited over the first snow of winter, but hasn't this gone on a little long? Back when I was a kid in Michigan, we walked to school through the snow and ice and howling wind and liked it. No matter how cold it got outside. And we didn't need any damned "wind chill" to make it sound colder than it really was. And that was before Global Warning took the edge off winter. When did y'all get so darned soft?

;););)

I agree, I am getting softer. I have the mid section to prove it.
