Stedemon 440c

I'm looking at getting a stedemon shy with a 440c blade, and I was wondering if anyone has experience with stedemon 440c or the shy in general.

i have a 440c jade one. steel seems decent enough . havent really put it to much work yet, but sharpens like my other american made 440c knives. not that this means anything.

Do you guys who have the Shy with the G10 clip ever worry about that clip snapping?

The 440c Shy has a steel pocket clip, and yes it's a great knife.

The 440c on my D01 that I had acts quite like the aus8 from my Rat 1. Is pretty dull after a whole day of cutting/slicing/opening boxes at work, but comes right back to razor with a few minutes on the sharpmaker and a strop. Hope that helps.

I mean it's Chinese 440c with a ht to match. Nothing great, endless sharpening. I get double or triple the use with better steel upgrade. So I avoid 440 an 8cr cause they are basically the same in my cutting tasks.

It's 57 bucks worth twice that, its a great knife.
