steel carbon content

I am trying to find the carbon content of L-6, 5160, D2, and A2. If you happen to know I would love to also.

If you go to Spyderco's website to the "edge-U-cation" section, there is a steel chart that will provide most of the info you desire. L-6 is not listed however.

I'm not being snarky, but you could not have tried too hard to find this info.


The "60" in 5160 is the carbon content -.60%
A simple google search for "Carbon content of "(steel type)" will also get dozens of hits.

The above reference sites will have all you want,too.
