Yes I am blunt. This is just another What's My Knife Worth thread. If you think I"m wrong then hit the report post on this one and a mod will see it and either give me a word or lock the thread.

Now in my opinion it's beyond crass to be gifted any knife never mind an expensive one like a PM2 (even a plain one is expensive) and stampede right to here to talk about the prices. That's just the individual opinion of a person who tends to hurt a lot of feelings. I'm working on that.

Now you’re making baseless accusations. Do you spend the majority of your time making assumptions? My question wasn’t based on the worth of my knife; my question was about the price differences between two of the same model with different steel. One steel (20CV or M390, whichever) I assumed was a higher quality or at least on par with S35VN. My question was about why the two aforementioned PM2s I’m equivalent steel cost less than my specimen in S35VN. Is reading comprehension difficult for you? It’s not like it’s any of your business but my parents literally purchased the knife I sent them in a link. They know next to nothing about which knife they bought. It happened to be my birthday, they asked what I would like, I sent them the link. There wasn’t an extensive thought process on their end. So, if anything, my primary concern boils down to this: did I ask my parents to spend more money than they should have on a knife with potentially inferior steel when they could have gotten more for their money if I had directed them toward the 20CV sprint.

Honestly, and I can’t stress this enough, I’m absolutely flabbergasted at the insanity of your retorts. The fact that you would think this is a “What is my knife worth” thread just shows how obtuse you actually are. I wish this was in W&C so I could say what I want to say to you.
