Steel for hunting knife

I agree Mike that the freezer wouldn't do a thing for 5160, which shouldn't have any RA. But a while back I hardened a blade of O1, tested the hardness when it was hand warm, then tested again after it was in the freezer for about a half hour. The hardness went up one or two points. Did the same thing with some 440C, with the same results. But, multiple temperings will do the same, so I don't waste my time with the freezer. :)
