I have a black on black CG (No logo) Busse Steel Heart- E with the Asymmetrical grind that I would like to trade. It comes with an OD Green Spec-ops Survival Sheath ( I would replace the screw that hold the insert in...I stripped it. It is still perfectly functional)
This knife is a user. It is in great shape, but it is NOT mint. I have taken this knife on one camping trip and have done the following: Chopped a few pieces of wood and stabbed it into a rusty 50 gallon drum. (just to see if it could take it.....it laughed at me). Here is as honest assessment as I can give:
It has slight smoothing of the black crinkle coat at the belly where I chopped a few pieces of wood, but the crinkle is not worn off, just smoothed a bit.
There is a small area of coating missing near the tip from the encounter with the steel drum. It almost looks like an unfinished penetrator tip. ( I have thought about taking a file to it to make the penetrator tip...wouldn't be hard)
The edge has been touched up on the sharpmaker and a leather strop using instructions found on the badmojo site.
I have braided 550 cord into a handguard that I will leave on or take off, up to you.
I am looking for:
Strider SMF Gen II- preferably digicam
Strider AR/GB series - grooved g-10 and/or tritium thumbstuds a must.
Users are fine but must be sharp, well taken care of, and a solid lockup.
I can snap pics if you have one of these and are interested. Thanks for looking!
