Steel Liners on G10 D4/E4 ?????

I've only seen pictures of the newer G10 Delicas and Enduras. The liners on them look more substantial than on the FRN knives. I see the weight difference of 92 (G10) grams vs 71 (FRN) grams. Can anybody confirm if the liners are different?

Yes, they are. The liners on the FRN version are smaller and nested into the FRN. The liners on the G-10 version are full width and not nested. Both have the same pattern of holes to lighten them. The G-10 version also has a steel backspacer/spring holder while the FRN version uses nylon for that part.
