• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Here are three beauties by Dan Graves. The Damascus is of
1095 and nickel by the maker and the handles are pre-ban elephant ivory.

The OAL of the largest knife is 16 3/4” (425 mm).

From The Talanian collection.

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

From my next book "The World of Art Knives" (May 2010)

As I posted in the other thread where the photo appeared, this trio makes up an outstanding set and commission.

Would have bet a lot that it came from the Talanian collection.

Dan makes a heck of a knife, I know because I used to own one of his Bowies, and I knew for sure that these came from Mike's collection:cool::thumbup:

I was just perusing my recent aquisition "500 Knives" and there are some VERY nice Dan Graves knives in there too! The Fighter on pg. 306 and Quillon Dagger on pg. 308 caught my eye.
