I Have Two Old Knife Blades And They Are Stamped 2250 Can Anyone Tell Me What Kind Of Steel It Is.

2250 sounds like a model number rather than an alloy.

I HAVE TWO BLADES ONE I HAVE HAD FOR ABOUT 50 YRS AND THE OTHER I GOT FROM A FRIENDS GARAGE A FEW YEARS AGO AND THEY AREW BOTH MARKED 2250 THATS WHY I TAUGHT IT WAS A TYPE OF STEEL THANKS

Got pictures?? You should post in Bernard Levines forum, lots of knowlegable folks there on old and otherwise forgotten knives. To give you a simple answer to your question though they're probably 1095 or similar carbon steel.
