Steel: Mild
OAL: 15 - 3/4"
Head length: 3 - 7/8"
Handle: White oak
Pins: 3/16" Copper
Weight: 1 pound 8 ounces

The head has been cold blued, pressure fitted and pinned to the handle with two 3/16" copper pins. The pins were left long so even though they are peened they are not flush, forming exposed studs. The handle has been sanded and treated with two coats of teak oil. There is a 1/4" thong hole pre-drilled at the base of the handle.

$65 ****SOLD****

this gives me the shivers. All i can imagine is the sound of this hitting a raw pot roast. I am shivering.

Why not just use steel pins? If youwant contrasting color use stainless pins. The copper is nice but soft-well softer than steel but not meat and bone.
I've put off getting one of these-- but one day!!
